Designing a web application filled with functionality

Architectural Window Systems required a comprehensive online resource for their customers: architects, designers, builders and specifiers working with AWS Aluminium window and door systems. walterwakefield worked closely with the team at AWS and its customers to design, develop and build a unique web application to assist in the specification of AWS products.

The SpecifyAWS portal was developed alongside key AWS customer profiles, with a focus on ensuring a seamless and beneficial user journey. Extensive user testing informed the final design and customer journey mapping.

User-centred and effective
systems & tools

The system aims to simplify the process for customers working with AWS products by allowing access to product details, information sheets, specifier manuals, 2D CAD Files, Revit and ArchiCAD BIM libraries, videos and project case studies. 

MyProject tool

SpecifyAWS also features a MyProjects tool which allows customers to save products to individual project folios to help organise specifications. Customers can also filter options according to their specific project requirements. 

SpecifyAWS is fully integrated with Salesforce, allowing the AWS sales team access to real-time data regarding their customers’ preferences, behaviour and needs.
