walterwakefield assist some of Australia’s largest companies to plan, develop and deliver their digital strategy. This is much more than designing and building a website. We work with you to develop a roadmap toward integrating all of your digital solutions, both customer and employee-facing, towards your long-term business goals, in the short and medium term.
Website Design, Development and Management
walterwakefield assist many S&P/ASX 100 (XTO) companies and boutique clients across the full digital lifecycle of their web presence. From workshopping site architecture, requirements gathering and functional specification through to design, full stack development, deployment and ongoing maintenance and management of your digital asset through Service Line Agreements (SLA).
Enterprise App Development
walterwakefield are currently assisting Downer to centralise communication for its 56,000 employees through the use of native iOS and Android Apps for mobile devices. These Apps will be deployed using Microsoft’s enterprise device management platform ‘Intune’, ensuring authentication security and information protection. As just part of this App ecosystem development, employees will be able to submit timesheets, receive payslips and request leave.
Enabling rich content creation, easily
Content is the lifeblood of any digital ecosystem. Content drives engagement, leads, conversions and behaviours. At Downer, employees were frequently not contributing content as the process seemed too daunting. In answer, we delivered a blog-style news and media page providing a simple story template and encouraging the use of images and videos. The addition of a categorisation and filtering system allows users to choose relevant information, helping to curate their journey to increased contribution.
Why Custom Content Management System (CMS)?
A custom CMS offers the freedom to design your site to specific requirements and objectives. As user experience trends change and your business grows so can your site, without the need to rebuild the underlying data sources or backend. It is also worth noting that a custom CMS can be developed at a fraction of the cost of leading off-the-shelf enterprise platforms and void of on-going licensing fees.
